Welcome to the Official Oldham Hockey Club Website

Originally established in 1952 as Oldham Ladies Hockey Club; 2017 saw a year of great progress for the club. The club has now developed and has teams playing in the England Hockey North West League (Ladies 1s in Division 2 South, Ladies 2s in Division 5 East and Ladies 3s in Division 6 East), Greater Manchester Mixed Hockey League and the Greater Manchester Junior Hockey League.

Oldham Hockey Club welcomes players of all abilities, and have a very active social calendar beyond the games and training sessions. If you are interested in joining Oldham Hockey Club then email info@oldhamhockey.org.uk for further details.

Junior Summer Training

Junior training for the summer is running each Thursday from 23rd April to 13th August –  6.30pm – 7.30pm. Sessions are taking place at Astley Sports Village, SK16 5BL.

Sessions are pay as you go, £4 a session, additional siblings are £2 each. Payments can be made via cash, card or bank transfer. 

In-Season Training

Training which consists of both skills sessions and games takes place on Thursday evenings from September to March at Newman RC College, OL9 9QY.

18:30 – 19:30 – Junior training session

19:00 – 20:30 – Mixed and Ladies’ training session

Games

Home games take place at Newman RC College on Saturdays and Sundays. Specific game information can be found within the team fixtures sections.
