Oldham Hockey Club is affiliated to the following national, regional and county hockey associations and leagues that govern the sport:

The Club and its members must adhere to the Codes of Conduct set out by England Hockey.

England Hockey has a Code of Ethics & Behaviour which covers people involved in hockey in this country.

This Code encapsulates all of the sporting, moral and ethical principles that hockey represents and is intended for all participants and disciplines within the sport however they choose to participate – as a player, umpire, coach, official, volunteer or a parent supporting on the sidelines.

Everyone involved in the sport should promote equality of access and opportunity, fairness and respect. All those involved within hockey have a responsibility to act according to the highest standards of integrity and to ensure that the reputation of the sport is, and remains, high.

Breaches of the Code – England Hockey has processes in place to managed potential breaches of the code and these work along side those of the relevant county, regional or league procedures. Matters relating to conduct will also be dealt with by the Club Committee.
